A few years ago, the guys at Driftworks travelled across Japan, to make a documentary on drifting in Japan. The goal was to get some insight on the Japanese scene, and bring the ideology behind it to the Western world. The documentary is called Outsiders Japan and was released in 2012 on DVD. 90 minutes of drift racing, featuring illegal street runs, shop visits and visits of drift Mekkah’s like the Ebisu Circuit and Bihoku, Okayama. There are also interviews with companies such as Bee-R, a visit to Autobacs’ Tuning Section and they pretty much covered all the things, the car enthusiast should do, when visiting Japan.
